Planet Alignment October 2024. A planetary alignment occurs when two or more planets, and the sun and moon, line up in a straight line in the same quadrant of the solar system. This video allows visitors to see the positions of the planets at any time during the year by stopping the animation at the appropriate time.

This week, six planets appeared to be in a line from earth’s perspective, but they did not acutally align in space. The time displayed is the exact time of the aspect (with an orb of zero degree).
